The members of Raja de Casablanca held, this Monday evening, a closed meeting in a hotel in Casablanca to assess the current situation of the club and discuss its future, after the announcement by the current steering committee, chaired by Adil Hala, of the holding of an extraordinary general meeting to resign from his functions.
According to an official source contacted by Hesport, this meeting addressed two essential points: the current situation of the club and the period which will follow the resignation of Adil Hala, in order to avoid the worsening of problems within the green team.
The same source indicated that the members were divided into two groups. One supported the creation of a temporary committee to manage the affairs of the club during the transition period, in order to take the necessary time to choose an appropriate steering committee capable of turning around Raja, and resolving the problems facing the Eagles are confronted. The other group, for its part, rejected this proposal and insisted on the need to find a competent president before the next general assembly.
The source also clarified that the meeting took place in a positive atmosphere and that it was agreed to schedule a new meeting in the coming days. Furthermore, rumors concerning a possible presidency of Abdessalam Belkchour have not been addressed, due to a lack of official information on this subject.

The press release, published on the club’s official page, specifies that the agenda of the general assembly will include the resignation of the current steering committee, chaired by Adil Hala, following pressure from supporters, who demanded the departure of management after the deterioration of the club’s sporting and financial situation.
The agenda of the general assembly also provides for the verification of the legal quorum, the appointment of a rapporteur and tellers, the opening speech of the president, the resignation of the steering committee, as well as the appointment of a committee provisional management until an ordinary general meeting is held.
