After Arnaud Bodart, FC has its eye on a former Anderlecht player – The latest transfers

FC has made a habit of looking towards nearby Belgium to strengthen itself. Arnaud Bodart might not be the only one to make them happy.

FC Metz is already pleased to have transferred from the Belgian this winter. Arnaud Bodart joined Ligue 2 freely and his first match has already earned him some great compliments (read here). Enough to inspire Metz to continue to exploit the sector, even if it is no longer in the Jupiler Pro League.

According to information from Foot Marketit would indeed seem that another of our compatriots is in the sights of Metz. No Rouche this time but an ex-Mauve: Hannes Delcroix would be considered as an option to strengthen the defense.

Sadibou Sané, central defender of FC Metz, would indeed be in the sights of AS Saint-Etienne. Delcroix would be a free option to replace him: Burnley could accept a loan with an option to buy in Lorraine.

Such an opportunity would allow Hannes Delcroix to bounce back, he who has not yet played a single minute this season in the Championship or in the Cup with Burnley. The ex-Mauve has been suffering from an adductor injury for many months.

Since signing in 2023 from RSC Anderlecht for €3 million, Delcroix has only played 15 games for the Clarets. His physical problems never allowed him to win in a championship which never seemed suited to his qualities, despite what Vincent Kompany, who had attracted him to follow him, thought.
