The presence of legendary Canadian hockey player Wayne Gretzky did not go unnoticed on Monday in Washington, as part of the inauguration ceremony of American President Donald Trump.

Gretzky, who was there with his wife Janet Jones, is among a number of sports figures showing their support for Trump.

Dana White, president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, also showed up.

Controversial fighter Conor McGregor was also seen in Washington.

Trump’s return to the presidency of the United States marks the beginning of a new era in the United States. He has officially returned to power since Monday.
