Barça: Lewandowski’s replacement will cost 180 million euros

FC Barcelona is already anticipating the future of its attack. While Robert Lewandowski (36) remains successful with 16 goals in La Liga this season, the Blaugrana leaders are looking for his successor.

At the top of the list? Alexander Isak, the Swedish striker of Newcastle, who impresses with 13 goals in the Premier League, according to Sports World.

An attractive but out of reach profile?

Barça considers Isak the ideal candidate, surpassing other options like Viktor Gyökeres (Sporting Portugal), considered less versatile despite his 32 goals this season. However, a transfer seems difficult to materialize. Isak is linked to Newcastle until 2028, and the Magpies value him at 180 million euros, an inaccessible amount for Barça with fragile finances.

Sports World also evokes an alternative in the person of Marcus Rashford, who could leave Manchester United. But here again, financial constraints – high salary and significant transfer compensation – complicate the operation. Barça could therefore be forced to wait or look for a more affordable solution to strengthen their attack in the medium term.
