Dreyer leaves RSCA: transfer fee is known

Anderlecht has already been very active on the transfer market this winter and this Saturday there was more news to be gleaned at Lotto Park. This time, it was on the departure side that there was a surprise, since a star player will leave the club.

On Saturday evening, Anders Dreyer was surprisingly not in the squad for Sunday’s championship match against KV Kortrijk and we quickly understood why. The Danish winger appears to be on his way out of Anderlecht.

Anderlecht recerva 5 millions pour Dreyer

Dreyer is in the process of landing a move to the American MLS, where he is close to signing with FC San Diego. According to Tipsbladet, he will travel to the United States on Sunday to undergo his medical examination and finalize his transfer. We also know that Anderlecht will ultimately receive 5 million euros for the 26-year-old player.

This amount could still be increased by half a million as a bonus. The transfer does not harm Dreyer himself either. He will earn a total of more than 6.5 million euros over the next three years.

Another Dane heading out

After Brian Riemer, Jesper Fredberg and Mikkel Hemmersam at the start of the season and Zanka this winter, another member of the Danish enclave leaves Anderlecht. Dreyer ultimately wore the Anderlecht jersey for two years. Anderlecht snatched him from FC Midtjylland for 4.2 million euros in January 2023.

Since then, Dreyer has played 87 official matches for the club, during which he recorded very good statistics with 31 goals and 23 assists. His departure is therefore a sporting loss for Anderlecht.
