Good news for Evgeni Malkin who found his Stanley Cup rings that he thought were lost following the burglary of his residence a few days ago.
It was reported 48 hours ago that Malkin’s residence was burglarized Saturday while the Pittsburgh Penguins hosted the Ottawa Senators and that the veteran forward’s three Stanley Cup rings were among the items apparently stolen .
The missing stones were, however, found inside his residence.
Allegheny Country police said Thursday evening that the championship rings were found inside his residence and that “the investigation remains ongoing.”
