Pro D2. VRDR: Adam Vargas should join Castres
After four seasons at VRDR, winger Adam Vargas should change horizons this summer and take charge of Castres Olympique (Top 14).
Arriving in 2021 when the club had moved down to the National, the 24-year-old player trained at LOU greatly participated in the rise to Pro D2 as well as in maintaining the Damiers last season by scoring 14 tries.
“We would have liked to keep him, but he is a promising young player… Adam gave me his word that he would play the game until the end, he must finish his story well with VRDR and be the most as useful as possible to the team, and encourage it so that it succeeds elsewhere” reacted manager Fabien Fortassin soberly.
