Ceuta stadium could be named Naïm

One of the most legendary players in Sebtaoui football, Naïm, could see his name inscribed in the stadium which now bears the name “Alfonso Murube”.
A platform “Support Nayim Stadium” was born, which, through social networks, wishes to obtain the greatest number of followers so that the figure of this footballer, who played as a starter for Real Zaragoza, is recognized.
Now, this platform has been created where everyone, via Facebook, can register and give their support so that the “Alfonso Murube” stadium is renamed “Nayim”.
“We created this platform in support of a great sportsman from Ceuta who carried the flag of his hometown high, at an international level. This initiative aims not only to recognize, but also to do justice to one of the most illustrious athletes that our city has given”, we point to the platform on Facebook.
This is the first measure that was taken, but not the only one, because in the future the Sebtaouis intend to collect signatures in different parts of the city.
The aim is to change the name of the stadium and have it recognized in honor of one of the city’s most important football figures.
“This platform was created to collect the support and signatures of all residents to rename Alfonso Murube Stadium with the name of Nayim Stadium,” notes the platform itself on its social networks.
The collection of signatures will be the next step to change the name of the stadium, which currently hosts the matches of AD Ceuta of the First Division RFEF. Nayim was one of the most important players in Ceuta football and everyone remembers his legendary goal with Zaragoza in the Recopa final against Arsenal.
Since then he continues to receive distinctions and awards, having been an important figure not only for Ceuta but also for Zaragoza. He is currently at AD Ceuta, where he performs his duties as base coordinator and helps his team achieve promotion in his category.
The platform will continue to call for support for the name of the “Alfonso Murube” stadium to be changed to “Nayim” stadium.
Furthermore, it should be remembered that Mohamed Naim was part of the Masia School of FC Barcelona in his adolescence to acquire a solid training which led him to the first Catalan team.
