Le Sablé FC announced, this Tuesday January 14, 2025the death of Quentin Bachaformer player of the club. The latter will have marked the history of Sablé FC.
Quentin Bacha spent eight seasons at Sablé FC
Quentin Bacha made a first stint at Sablé FC between 2010 et 2015. After a stay in Beaucouzé, he returned to Shortbread in 2016 and stays there until 2019, where he plays in National 3 under the orders of Olivier Pignolet.
“With his eight seasons under our colors, he left his mark on our history, notably during the epic 2011-2012 Coupe de France and his goal against Sedan (in the 32nd final) in front of a packed Rémy Lambert stadium,” indicates Sablé FC in a message published on social networks.
The striker also played a few minutes in the round of 16 against PSG at MMArena. Quentin Bacha was also part of the two seasons finishing in 2nd place in the CFA2 rankings in 2013-2014 and 2017-2018.
Champion of N3 with Saumur
“Nicknamed “the moped” for his speed and energy, Quentin knew how to conquer the hearts of supporters and become one of Rémy Lambert’s favorites.
In 2019, Quentin Bacha joined Saumur where he also shined. He notably participated, under the leadership of Julien Sourice, in the beautiful epic in French Cup in 2021reaching the round of 16 against Toulouse FC.
In 2022, he won the National 3 championship with the Maine-et-Loire club.
A tribute paid this Saturday, January 18
A tribute will be paid to him this Saturday, January 18 at the Rémy-Lambert stadium, with a minute of silence, before kickoff of the National 3 match between Sablé FC and Stade Lavallois B.
