Freyr Alexandersson will not have been out of work for long. A month after the end of his adventure in Kortrijk, the Icelandic coach signed up with the Norwegian club SK Brann.
New challenge in Norway
The 42-year-old was named coach of the Norwegian team just over two months before the championship resumed (March 29). Brann, who finished national runner-up last season, will play in the European Cup next season.
This will be his fourth experience abroad after his stints at Al-Arabi (Qatar), Lyngby (Denmark) and Kortrijk.
Vanderhaeghe does not do better
To replace Alexandersson, Kortrijk decided to bring back Yves Vanderhaeghe. But for the moment, we cannot say that it is a great success. Indeed, the Courtraisians have a record of one draw and two defeats in three matches since the appointment of the Belgian coach.
