The Casablanca Raja steering committee is intensifying its efforts to lift the recruitment ban in order to strengthen its ranks with new players in positions where the team lacks resources, during the winter transfer period underway this January.
According to a responsible source contacted by Hesport, the leaders of the Greens are redoubling their efforts to lift this ban, a challenge that the current steering committee wishes to take on despite the prospect of its imminent departure.
The same source specified that Raja will have to pay around 1.4 million dirhams to lift this sanction. The club aims to recruit three players during the winter transfer window, according to the criteria set by the team’s coach, Hafid Abdessadek.
The Raja steering committee has decided to grant full latitude to the current coach to maintain the technical stability of the team, in the hope of breathing new life into the Eagles formation, after the loss of hopes of continental competition and the gap widened with the leading clubs in the professional championship.
Raja must beat its guest, the Congolese team Maniema, during the sixth and final day of the championship by three goals, while hoping for a favor from the “Army” of the FAR, in the event of victory against the South Africans from Mamelodi Sundowns.
It should be remembered that RCA currently occupies eighth place in the general Botola Pro standings with a total of 23 points.
