A disturbing scene occurred on Saturday during Oliver Kapanen’s match in Sweden.

The Canadian’s hope hurt his head when he fell on the ice, even though he had lost his helmet.

Remember that the attacker’s head took the shock, but at least he was able to leave the ice on his own.

We were still waiting for updates on his injury and we got some news on that today.

Kapanen was removed from the game on Saturday as a preventative measure and he should be able to play on Thursday, when his club returns to action.

After the meeting, the Canadian prospect also said that he felt relatively good:

Patrik Bexell’s comments also agree with this:

If he was able to avoid the worst, so much the better.

Seeing a player’s head banging on the ice is never a good sign… And there’s no one who wants to see it during a hockey game.

We agree that accidents can happen quickly on an ice rink, but hey. The good news is that the striker – who played matches with CH at the start of the season – is not seriously injured.

It would have been flat for his development because things are going really well for him in Sweden this season.

Timrå IK is 15-9-1 since the start of the campaign and Kapanen has been part of his team’s success, having collected 16 points in 17 games so far this season.

We’re talking about superb production for a 21-year-old player in a league like this.

– Good question. But I would lean towards Hutson since he is younger.

– Lane Hutson is here!

– I adore.

– Good. Another one who is sick!
