After learning at the beginning of December that it had come in second position, behind GL Events, in the process of awarding the future concession for the Stade de France (from August 2025 and for the next thirty years), the Vinci duo -Bouygues, shareholder of the consortium which currently manages the Saint-Denis compound, has decided to counter-attack in court.
According to our information, Vinci-Bouygues believes that there were numerous shortcomings in the tender process. The rules of law would not have all been respected according to the shareholder duo who will therefore officially take the State before the administrative courts this week. A summons of around sixty pages in summary proceedings to initially denounce the form of this attribution.
A first court decision within a month
A first court decision is therefore expected within three to four weeks. It remains to be seen what impact this court decision will have on the exclusive negotiations between GL Events and the State, which must end by the end of January.
