As part of its societal commitment, the Côte d’Azur Football District organized a food collection on the occasion of the Women’s Christmas event. This initiative, carried out in partnership with Restaurants du Cœur, aims to provide concrete support to people in precarious situations in our department.
Thanks to the mobilization of clubs, players and families, a total of 75 kilograms of food was harvested. These precious donations were given to the Restos du Cœur association, which will thus be able to strengthen its actions with people welcomed unconditionally, particularly in the center of Cagnes-sur-Mer.
In a letter addressed to the District, Mr. François Chantrait, Departmental Manager of Restos du Cœur, expressed his thanks:
“On behalf of the people welcomed by Restaurants du Cœur, we thank you for your generosity and for your commitment to our Association. »
This operation illustrates the Côte d’Azur District’s desire to promote the values of mutual aid and solidarity, which find their full meaning in the current context.
