Coming on as a substitute during Barça’s victory over Real on Sunday evening, Dani Olmo celebrated his team’s victory after the match with his teammates.
While he had not played since December 21, Dani Olmo made his return and played more than half an hour on Sunday during Barça’s victory against Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup (5- 2). The Spanish international has been provisionally requalified by the Spanish sports council to play again like his teammate Pau Victor. Due to their club’s failure to comply with financial fair play, both players were no longer qualified to play. The Catalan club still obtained their registration for the final. Dani Olmo replaced Lamine Yamal shortly before the hour mark and was celebrated by his teammates and his club after the match. “It’s your time” wrote this one in a post published on X.
In this post, we see the Spanish player heading towards his club’s fans to celebrate his return. The 26-year-old appears to mime a watch with his finger and kisses his club’s crest. An image that will please supporters of the Catalan club.
