To which, the presenter responded by indicating that he had received text messages from Valérie Benaïm who reassured him about his state of health. However, even if he wanted to be reassuring, the host did not give any date for a possible return of his columnist.
Valérie Benaïm finally back
We finally had to wait until January 13, 2025. In fact, on this date, the 55-year-old journalist finally made her return to the radio. Listeners were able to hear his voice again on the show We walk on our heads on Europe 1.
To celebrate this return, Fabien Lecoeuvre wanted to offer a gift to Valérie Benaïm to “to make amends” because he had forgotten about him “send [ses] wishes this year!”. “Oooh, well that will make him happy!”Cyril Hanouna then reacted immediately.
The journalist suffered from an illness
“Hello everyone, I’m very happy to be back with you!”also launched the main interested party for its first broadcast of 2025. Subsequently, Cyril Hanouna's columnist gave some explanations on her long absence: “I was absent becauseI was diagnosed with a small illness which unfortunately eventually makes me deafand so I had to have surgery.”
Fortunately, she was taken care of in time. While many patients are at too advanced a stage of the disease to consider a possible intervention, Valérie Benaïm was able to go on the operating table: “I was lucky that they managed to operate on my hearing and that we were able to stop the disease.”
A few hours later, Cyril Hanouna clarified that Valérie Benaïm could not yet take part in TPMP because of the operation.
