the CH has the 11th best power play in the NHL since its return

When the Canadian acquired Patrik Laine, we knew it would help the club on the power play.

The player has been recognized as a powerplay specialist since his debut in the NHL because he has a high-quality shot.

And we see how much good its addition does at this level.

From October 9 (Canadian’s first game) to December 3 (Laine’s return), the Canadian was relatively good on the power play: he had an efficiency rate of 20.8%, which placed him 15th in the NHL.

It’s still good.

But since the return of sniper in the lineup – even though he missed four games – the Canadian has an efficiency rate of 23.5% with the man advantage.

The difference is this: since December 3, the Canadian is the 11th best club in the league when it finds itself on the power play.

We knew he had the qualities to change the numerical advantage single-handedly.

This is exactly what we are seeing right now!

No joke, it makes a world of difference because it allows the team to score more goals.

It’s no coincidence that the Canadian has a 12-5-1 record and is the 5th best club in the WHOLE NHL since December 3, i.e. since Laine’s return…

Since December 3, the Canadian is also the 11th NHL club to score the most goals.

This is something to consider, too.

In the end, it is therefore easy to see that the arrival of Patrik Laine in Martin St-Louis’ training had the desired effect.

The Canadian went for him with the goal of scoring more goals and bringing more offensive support into the lineup, and the results are there right now.

Laine has 9 goals scored since the start of the season, but they have all been scored on the power play. This allows him to be installed today in 3rd place among the best scorers in the league in powerplay… Even if he has only played 14 matches.

And since December 3, he has also scored the most power play goals in the NHL.

You have to do it!

When Laine plays and he is fit, he helps the club win.

It would be nice to see him score more goals at 5v5… But hey.

We notice that he can have an impact on a club even if he is not always the best at equal strength (especially at 5 against 5).

In burst

– Voilà.

– Kale Makar.

– They have been dominant since the start of the season.

– Hmm. Good question!
