European record over 10 km for Swede Andreas Almgren in Valencia in 26’53”

Winner in Valencia (Spain), Andreas Almgren, 29, broke the European 10 km record this Sunday. The Swede ran the distance in 26’53”, becoming the first European to run in less than 27 minutes. “I had a good feeling in training, so I knew I was in good shape”Almgren said after his victory.
