The anger of the supporters Stade Malherbe Caen (Calvados) did not fall, Saturday January 11, 2025, far from it. The defeat against Grenoble (0-1) only fueled tensions between the kop, the players and the entire club.

After a relatively calm first period, marked by encouragement from the Borrelli stand, it rose to the surface just before the break, when Valls opened the scoring (45th).
-In the second half, ironic songs and banners full of bitterness followed one another. The kop even turned its back on the pitch, to mark its dismay, and chanted the name of Nicolas Seube, the “hero” of Stade Malherbe lovers, ousted at the end of December 2024.

And at the end of the match, when the players approached to greet them, some supporters demanded explanations, to the sound of “move your a**”. The team leaders, Alexandre Mendy, Romain Thomas and even Yann M’vila, in civilian clothes on the eve of resuming training, exchanged long minutes with representatives of the kop. All under the eyes of Bruno Baltazar who must have been wondering what mess he had gotten himself into…
