It’s the big resumption of the Regional 3 championship this weekend, which also offers us two derbies to start 2025 near L’Isle-Jourdain and Fleurance.
From 2024, however, we will remember on the positive side, the excellent sensation provided by the fabulous Aignan team, first in Group H; and on the negative side, Gimont’s last place in the rankings in group E. All that remains is to wish our Gersois to finish as high as possible and hope that this wish is granted!

Pool E
L’Isle-Jourdain – Auch II, Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Hol stadium in L’Isle-Jourdain. Positions: L’Isle-Jourdain, 9th with 11 points (3 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses); against Auch II, 10th with 8 points (2 wins, 2 draws and 5 defeats). As a resumption, a derby is on the program for Lislois and Auscitains. At home, Lislois will want to start well in order to scrape a few places in the standings and also move away from the bottom of the table. Of course, the Auscitains will not see it that way and in their uncomfortable situation, leaving well could open up new horizons.
Note: the Lislois ended the year 2024 with a severe defeat in Pavie (4-0), while the Auscitains scored a valuable victory against Mas 31 (1-0).

Pibrac II – Pavia, Saturday 8:30 p.m. at the Castanette de Pibrac stadium. Positions: Pibrac II, 8th with 11 points (3 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses); against Pavia, 2nd with 18 points (5 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss). Pavie has had a very good start to the season and it is without any pressure that they will make this first trip of the new year… No pressure but ambition, always.
-Note: the Paviens closed 2024 with a great victory against L’Isle-Jourdain (4 to 0), while Pibrac II lost against Elpy (2 to 1).

Fleurance La Sauvetat – Gimont, Sunday 3 p.m. at the Marius-Lacoste stadium in Fleurance. Positions: Fleurance La Sauvetat, 4th with 14 points (4 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses); against Gimont, 12th with 4 points (4 draws and 5 defeats). Another derby in this group E with the Fleurantins who welcome the Gimontois. For the Fleurantins, with a very honorable, although irregular, course so far, the objective is to manage this derby and this first match of 2025 well by putting the right ingredients into the game. Opposite, the Gimontois, suffering until now, will be keen to demonstrate that they are not in their place and that they are much better than their current ranking.
Note: for the last match of 2024, the Fleurantins took over Meauzac (3 to 1), while Gimont lost at home to leader Blagnac III 3 to 1.
Hen H
Tarbes II – Aignan, Saturday 8 p.m. at the Trélut stadium in Tarbes. Positions: Tarbes II, 2nd with 20 points (6 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss); against Aignan, 1st with 21 points (6 wins and 3 draws). Top match for this resumption since the second Tarbes II welcomes the leader Aignan. And yes, this surprising USA team had an almost perfect run, not bad for a promoted player! And if the lights have still remained green in 2024, we hope that they will remain so in 2025. It is a real test which therefore awaits the Gersois leader who can no longer play with the surprise effect now, but they will be ready and motivated.
Note: in 2024 Tarbes II closed with a clear success against Tournefeuille (4 to 1), while Aignan got rid of Orleix at home (3 to 1).
