Quebecer Catherine Raiche is in the sights of the Tennessee Titans.

According to The Athletic reporter Dianna Russini, the NFL club requested permission to interview Raiche regarding their vacant general manager position.

The 36-year-old currently works as an assistant general manager with the Cleveland Browns. She has held this position since 2022. She previously served as coordinator of football operations (2019-2021) and vice president of football operations (2021-2022) with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Titans also requested permission to speak with Kansas City Chiefs assistant GM Mike Borgonzi.

The Tennessee team fired general manager Ran Carthon on Tuesday. The team finished last in the overall standings on the Goodell Tour this season and thus obtained the first pick in the next draft.

Coming back to Raiche, the Montrealer began her career in football with the Montreal Alouettes, where she was coordinator of football operations (2015-2017) and assistant to the GM (2017). She then worked for the Toronto Argonauts (2018-2019) and the Tampa Bay Vipers (2019).

If she ever gets the job with the Titans, Raiche would become the second general manager in NFL history. Susan Tose Spencer held this position with the Eagles in 1983.

This is also not the first time that Raiche has been considered for a GM position in the best football league in the world. In January 2022, she interviewed for the vacant position with the Minnesota Vikings.
