The Confederation of African (CAF) announced that the financial allocation for the winner of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will take place in three countries (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda) from February 1 to 28, has been increased. On this subject, the president of the continental body, Dr Patrice Motsepe, declared that “the CAN which will take place in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda makes us enthusiastic and we have decided to significantly increase the allocation financial for the winner at 3.5 million USD, which represents a revaluation of 75%. We have also increased the financial allocation for CHAN Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 to $10.4 million, an increase of 32%.”

For the CAF President, “CHAN is an important competition for the development and growth of football players based in Africa, and will contribute significantly to the global competitiveness of African football and CAF competitions. .
