In a very long tweet, Javier Tebas, president of La Liga, was very upset against the decision of the Higher Sports Council allowing Barça to provisionally register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. He denounces in particular the “complicit silence” of Real Madrid.
“Where is Real Madrid TV?” With these words, Javier Tebas concluded his long plea published this Thursday on Twitter after the decision of the Superior Sports Council allowing Barça to provisionally register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. The president of La Liga was indignant at a measure which could “dismantle the systems that operate in La Liga” and questions the “complicit silence” of Real Madrid.
In his tweet, Tebas questions “the recent injunction” formulated by the CSD and describes it as a “tragicomedy”. He lists the elements which question him: “the speed of the procedure: an unusual speed which did not allow LaLiga or the RFEF to be heard”, “the forgetting of previous decisions: the ignorance of the decisions previous decisions of the CSD and the courts of justice”, “the declaration of incompetence of the Monitoring Commission: this decision demonstrates a profound misunderstanding of the management of prior visas and quasi-final licenses. Is there not. prior agreements in these institutions?”
A frontal attack against the government body
Javier Tebas also underlines that the CSD resolution, which offers a precautionary measure to FC Barcelona allowing Dani Olmo and Pau Victor to be registered pending the final resolution, “does not mention the articles of the RFEF regulations which prevented licensing players, which is the key to the problem and not economic control A deliberate omission?”
“The Superior Council of Sports contradicts what is said in the reasons for the Sports Law, where the economic control of LaLiga is praised. This control, admired throughout the world, made it possible to save many historic clubs of the ruin and to achieve an honest competition on and off the field. However, the CSD calls it into question, once again showing a lack of understanding of the effects of its decisions (which is not the first time).”
Real Madrid “accomplice” of Barça?
Before attacking the government institution and more particularly its president: “For some time, the CSD – and in particular its president, who gives the appropriate instructions – seems to have the objective of dismantling the systems which operate in LaLiga and which enjoy the support of the majority of clubs The president of the CSD seems to listen to only one voice, which does not represent Spanish professional football And this voice, curiously, maintains a complicit silence in this matter. so Real Madrid TV? (to be continued…)”
Real Madrid have reportedly decided not to attack FC Barcelona, where other clubs have complained about such a decision to La Liga, due to its Superleague project. The Merengue club had also been singled out when discussing the fairness of financial fair play in La Liga, since certain Madrid players were recorded thanks to concerts organized at the Santiago-Bernabeu, but ultimately canceled after complaints from local residents in due to noise pollution, without the Real payroll limit being lowered.
