HC Franches-Montagnes is starting the year of good skating. He won 5-0 on the ice of Wetzikon on Saturday evening in the MyHockey League. Against a very undisciplined team which received nine minor penalties and one match penalty, the Jurassiens got going thanks to their power play. Karim Bouchareb, at 5 against 4, and Lee Roberts, at 5 against 3, allowed the HCFM to lead by two lengths after a particularly choppy first period. Vincent Léchenne’s men managed to drive home the point before mid-match thanks to striker Loris Masini. Zurich’s change of goalkeeper will not have changed anything at the end of this duel, Arnaud Schnegg adding to the score 14 seconds from the second siren. The HCFM even signed its biggest victory of the season by scoring a fifth success thanks to Lee Roberts and achieving a clean sheet for the first time in the year. The evening was beautiful in particular for the Franc-Montagnard goalkeeper Lucas Gaudreault (editor’s note: who replaced Hugo Cerviño aligned with La Chaux-de-Fonds in the Swiss League) and for the Top Scorer Arnaud Schnegg, author of four points.
