Will Anderlecht manage to part ways with Amadou Diawara this winter? This is the question that most supporters of the Brussels club are asking themselves.
Since his arrival at Anderlecht in the summer of 2022, the Guinean defensive midfielder has only played 47 matches. After playing just 12 games last season, the former Napoli player has not played a single minute this season.
Anderlecht is therefore logically seeking to separate from Diawara. It must be said that the latter still earns almost 2 million euros per year according to certain sources!
Ferencvaros is interested in Diawara
According to various foreign sources, Ferencvaros would be interested in the idea of recruiting Diawara in January. Anderlecht will not put any obstacles in the way of the Hungarian club and would even be ready to let the Guinean international leave for free.
A huge failure
Daiwara has been playing for Anderlecht for 3.5 years. Including his salary + the price of his transfer, it cost the RSCA no less than 8.5 million euros. When we see the poor contribution he made on the field, we can say that this transfer was a disaster on a sporting and financial level.
