Looking for a new number 9 after Folarin Balogun's serious shoulder injury, AS Monaco would have, according to Fabrizio Romano, found the American's replacement in…. Austria!
With an injury that will keep Balogun away from the field at least until April, the Monegasques had to find a new number 9 to be able to face the numerous challenges of the second part of the season, including the rest of the League champions and the fight for second place in Ligue 1. Thus, according to information from journalist and transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, this famous replacement could well be the young Danish striker from Sturm Graz, Mika Biereth.
ASM already agrees with Biereth
The young 21-year-old Dane trained at Arsenal would already have an agreement with the principality club on contractual terms. It now remains for the two clubs to agree on the amount of the transaction.
The former Gunner has already scored 14 goals with the Austrian club since the start of the season, including two in the Champions League against Girona and Bruno Genesio's LOSC.
