Anderlecht will offer its first recruit in this winter transfer window. César Huerta arrives from Mexico and will undergo his medical examinations this Friday.

If Sporting Anderlecht had a little scare when their club PUMAS wanted to extend his contract, the Brussels club will record its first transfer of the winter transfer window, in the person of César Huerta.

The 24-year-old Mexican left winger reached the end of his contract in June in Mexico. His club therefore had to sell him in January, since a possible extension would have made his price inaccessible for all candidates, including Anderlecht and Osasuna.

This is not the case. The Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri confirms the statements, in Mexico, and affirms that Huerta will pass his medical examinations this Friday, before signing his contract.

A three and a half year contract awaits him at Lotto Park. According to the Mexican press, Anderlecht would pay between two and three million euros to secure his services.

If the left flank of the Mauves was already well occupied, the arrival of César Huerta could precipitate the departure of Francis Amuzu, while Samuel Edozie is on loan and will no longer be there next season.
