Being a football coach is not without risk. Sunday, December 22, gunshots were heard in the Jean-Perdrix park area in Valence (Drôme), and a man, a football coach, was targeted, according to information fromEurope 1.
Fired from an automatic weapon, these shots broke out shortly after an amateur football match in the sensitive Fontbarlettes district. Once there, the police found nine shell casings from a 5.56 mm caliber assault rifle on the ground.

According to witnesses, the shooter had his face hidden. The suspect was then seen fleeing in a stolen vehicle which was found burned shortly after the incident in another sensitive district: that of Rose des Vents.

An investigation was opened to try to find the shooter. Regularly, coaches or referees are targeted.
At the beginning of November, a father, who did not appreciate that his son was not selected, set fire to the vehicles of two coaches near Toulouse in Haute-Garonne.
