Tackled by the president of Drancy, FC Nantes, via its general director Franck Kita, responded to the manager's anger.
On Saturday, FC Nantes reassured itself during the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France, by crushing JA Drancy with a score of 4-0. A large victory against a backdrop of controversy, given that the president of Drancy, Alain Melaye, attacked Waldemar Kita, who chose not to leave the recipe of the match to his opponent.
“We were not invited to any salon”
“I am disappointed, bitter and angry! It’s a big disappointment for amateur Football. There is no rapprochement between amateurs and pros. However, many stars come from small amateur clubs. Kita’s attitude is small,” he said.
Contacted by Le Parisien, Franck Kita, the general director of FC Nantes, responded to these statements. “We had decided that we would remove our travel costs, bus and hotel, from our share of revenue. And if there had been a remainder on this share, we would have left it to the club. But this part didn't even pay half of our costs. […] No one came to see us or introduce themselves as leader of Drancy. However, I was at the edge of the pitch during the entire warm-up. We were not invited to any lounge and we went to sit in the middle of the stands,” replied Kita, whose club will face Stade Brestois in the round of 16.
