The Center for Sports Law and Economics honors the most beautiful reconversions

The Center for Sports Law and Economics at the University of has trained, since 1999, no less than 160 professional managers who today work in most professional clubs or sports institutions.
Today, it no longer needs to be demonstrated that the CDES is recognized both nationally and internationally.

In 2009, the MG Sport pro association, which brings together graduates of the thirteen classes of manager training, took the initiative of creating a ceremony to award retraining trophies.

Supported by “Maurienne Impulsion” and, of course, the CDES, the 15? edition of these trophies will take place on January 6 in the Maurienne ski resort of Val Cenis.

This ceremony will therefore honor and reward the best sporting career paths of the year 2024.

The FFF jury

To designate these winners, the jury met last November at the headquarters of the French Federation. A jury chaired by Marie Bochet (Paralympic alpine skier, quadruple gold medalist at the 2014 and 2018 Olympic Games) and Hakim Areski (Paralympic cecifoot champion in 2024).
The chips are down and we will know on January 6 who will add their name to an already long and prestigious list.

We can cite, among others, Muriel Hurtis, Olivier Dacourt, Matthias Rolland (2023), Ugo Mola (2022), Tony Estanguet, Marie-Amélie Le Fur (2021), Brigitte Henriques, Marc Keller (2020) or Sarah Ourahmoune (2019 ),
Without forgetting Didier Deschamps, Bruno Marie-Rose, Céline Géraud, Éric Bouvier, Stéphane Diagana, Yannick Souvré, Marc Lièvremont or Jean-Marc Lhermet.

Ceremony

A highlight of the Rencontres Maurienne Sports, the Reconversion Trophies ceremony rewards former students and athletes who have successfully engaged in a retraining process at the end of their sporting career.

In an atmosphere which, like the station, aims to be authentic and friendly, five trophies will be awarded following the vote of a jury made up of external personalities, members of MG Sport from CDES, the station and of Maurienne impulse.

The trophy for the best female reconversion, the trophy for the best male reconversion, the trophy for the best sports consultant, the trophy for the best parasport reconversion and the trophies for the best general manager career will be awarded.

For the latter, the winner is elected within the network of DU graduates as general manager of the CDES at the University of Limoges.

The eligibility criteria are very specific. You must have completed your retraining process without this necessarily being within the sporting movement and there is no limitation as to the sporting disciplines from which the winners come.
