Renard wants to strengthen the attack: a targeted international

In Anderlecht, the winter transfer market should strengthen. We have known for a long time that the priority is to find a central defender.

Sporting, however, does not close the door to other opportunities, particularly in attack. Called up in November by Wouter Vandenhaute, Olivier Renard will be keen to prove himself in a few weeks.

Some reinforcements

There is no question of breaking the bank even if the financial results are good, it will be a matter of targeted reinforcements. This is what Renard himself explained ten days ago during a meeting with supporters' representatives.

Having confirmed that the intention is to provide David Hubert with more solutions in central defense, he added that he was not closed to the idea of seeing an attacker arrive. For this, he could go to the other side of the Atlantic.

An attacker on the list

According to Mexican media Record, César 'Chino' Huerta appears on the list of several clubs including Anderlecht. With a contract that expires at the end of the season, the UNAM Pumas player could therefore seize the opportunity to take on a new challenge.

To avoid seeing their player leave for free in a few months, the Mexican club could agree to sell in January but Girona, Benfica and Osasuna would already be on the move and there is no indication that the international will choose Anderlecht.

Aged 24, he usually plays on the left flank but can also play on the right or in the center. A versatile player who could therefore allow Anderlecht to have a new string to their bow.
