After four successful first editions and in line with its commitment to promoting good governance and compliance within its member associations, confederations and the wider football family, FIFA will organize its fifth Compliance Summit on April 9 and 10, 2025, in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
This face-to-face event will bring together experts in governance and compliance, but also men and women in the field from across the football world, including representatives of FIFA member associations and confederations. The discussions will focus on best practices, knowledge sharing and the study of the latest trends. Each of FIFA's 211 member associations was invited to be represented by a delegate responsible for compliance issues.
The 2025 edition promises to be more eclectic than the previous ones, always with the same objective: to support our member associations more effectively. The program will cover key compliance issues, including the development of compliant programs, governance, risk management and internal audit practices.
“We will look at different topics through presentations, interactive workshops and round tables; all this in order to offer practical reflection and tailor-made tools to our member associations, whatever their level of development in terms of compliance” , explains Anja Zumkeller, director of the Compliance, Audit, Risk and Advisory sub-division at FIFA. “We look forward to working with them to achieve our goal of protecting the integrity of football.”
