Christmas came early in Étampes at the end of the year 2024. On December 18 more precisely, at the end of the Community Office of the Urban Community of Étampois-Sud-Essonne which unanimously acted, under the authority of its president Johann Mittelhausser, planning and development aid for the commune of Étampes.
“We warmly thank the Agglomeration for this essential financial support”, would like to underline the Mayor of Étampes, Franck Marlin.
“The allocated sum of €242,207 will allow us to act in areas that directly impact the lives of our citizens: the practice of sport thanks to the creation of 3×3 basketball and 4×4 handball courts or even the change of LED lighting at the Michel-Poirier sports center; the school world with IT rehabilitation, the acquisition of furniture and the development of the surroundings for the André-Buvat school as well as the purchase of equipment for the school catering offices; the maintenance of our living environment with the purchase of a ride-on mower or the creation of a ramp for loading trucks at the Municipal Technical Center… We are grateful for this important commitment which reinforces our 2025 budget to achieve dynamic investments and numerous stamp projects. »
