Present in the top 5 during the last three seasons of WRC2 (4th last year after having a chance of the title during his last rally), Yohan Rossel will leave for a season at this level, still at the wheel of the Citroën C3 Rally2 with the PH Sport team. But a major change for the team which had been crowned “Teams” champion of the category, Nicolay Gryazin will no longer be the teammate of the 29-year-old Gardois since the other C3 Rally2 will be entrusted to his younger brother, Léo. Aged 27, the latter has just been crowned French asphalt rally champion, with a C3 Rally2, winning four victories.
