The city of Orléans will host the first round of the France / Brazil qualifying phase on February 1 and 2, 2025

The French Federation has decided to entrust the organization of the first round of the qualifying phase of the / Brazil Davis Cup, which will take place on Saturday February 1 and Sunday February 2, 2025, to the city of Orléans (Centre-Val league of ).

This meeting will take place at the Palais des Sports in Orléans, which will offer tennis in its configuration a capacity of around 3,000 places. In accordance with the choice of the France team, the matches will take place on a hard court (indoor).

The Palais des Sports d’Orléans maintains a close link with tennis. This room has in fact hosted the Orléans Challenger until 2022. A Billie Jean King Cup meeting was also organized there in 2009 (France – Italy in the first round of the event).

Paul-Henri Mathieu, captain of the Blues, will communicate the composition of the French Davis Cup team by January 3.

Note that the opening of the ticket office for this France / Brazil meeting will take place at the beginning of January (information on the sale of tickets will be communicated soon).

I warmly thank the city of Orléans for hosting this Davis Cup match. I am aware that the time allocated to organize this event is very short but I am convinced that the mobilization of the teams from the city of Orléans combined with those of the FFT will make it possible to meet this magnificent challenge. I am looking forward to returning to the particularly festive atmosphere of home meetings. I am now meeting the supporters of the French team in Orléans for this first round of the Davis Cup which promises to be exciting.”declared Gilles Moretton, President of the French Tennis Federation.
