In addition to the partial closure of the Loire stand, the parking lot will also be closed this Sunday, for the derby between Nantes and Rennes.
This Sunday at 5 p.m., the 14th day of Ligue 1 will feature the derby between FC Nantes and Stade Rennais, at the Beaujoire stadium. Two teams quite close in the standings (3 points difference), even if the Rennais will not have the opportunity to push their players from the park. In fact, the Loire-Atlantique prefecture has issued an order to prohibit the arrival of Rennes fans.
An appeal still possible
The rivalry between the two clubs and the incidents of previous meetings explain this decision, but also the great tension around the FCN, which saw certain ultras from the Loire Brigade try to invade the field against Le Havre (0-2). As a result, SRFC supporters will also be prohibited from showing up in all 24 municipalities in the Nantes metropolis, from Saturday 6 p.m. until Monday 8 a.m.
However, an appeal by the National Association of Supporters can still take place before the Council of State, as was the case with Nantes supporters, banned, then accepted at the Parc des Princes last Saturday. Note that there will also be a partial closure of the Loire stand at the La Beaujoire stadium.
