World Cup. Kontiolahti: Julia Simon announced at the start of the women's individual despite her injury on the relay

Hit in the calf in the women's relay on Sunday, Savoyard Julia Simon is on the starting list for the individual in Kontiolahti this Wednesday (4:20 p.m.).

Since the arrival of the women's relay on Sunday, the French clan has maintained minimalist communication regarding the state of health of Julia Simon.

On Monday, Stéphane Bouthiaux, the manager of the French teams, told Dauphiné Libéré/Skichrono that the Savoyard was going to take additional exams at the beginning of the afternoon.

Since then, the French clan has remained silent to make a decision this Wednesday on the participation, or not, of Julia Simon who did not train on skis on Tuesday. Finally, she appears on the start list for the individual in Kontiolahti this Wednesday (4:20 p.m.) with bib 48, which gives her the choice of whether or not to take part in the event.

It is the Finnish Suvi Minkkinen who will open the gate. Note the absence of the Italian Lisa Vittozzi, who suffers from a back problem.
