Genève-Servette and Sparta Prague have reached a financial arrangement for the transfer of Michael Špaček. The 27-year-old center joins his new team with immediate effect, he will no longer wear the colors of GSHC.

The story between Genève-Servette and Michael Špaček is unfortunately already over. The Czech international has asked GSHC to be released so he can join Sparta Prague. Once the financial compromise was found with the Czech team, the Club agreed to let its 27-year-old center leave. Michael Špaček was transferred to Sparta Prague and joined his new team earlier this week.

After starting his professional career in the AHL, Michael Špaček returned to Europe where he played in the biggest championships. After Finland, Czechia and Sweden, he joined the National League in 2022 at Ambrì-Piotta. Arriving this summer at GSHC, he scored 25 points in 29 games (CHL included).

The entire Genève-Servette thanks Michael Špaček for his involvement and wishes him all the success he deserves with his new team!
