After Rabat 2022, Marrakech 2023, the ocher city is preparing to welcome back l’Edition2024 au Palais Congresses .
This festival organized by the CAF has the purpose to highlight thethe most remarkable talents in African football and celebrate their exceptional achievements both at club level and in international competitions, according to the CAF press release produced on this occasion.
The same press release adds:
‘“The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the prestigious African Player of the Year award, one of the most prized individual distinctions in football on the continent.”
‘’-The event will also include various other categories, such as Best Coach, Best National Team and Best Club on the continent and beyond.”
‘’-In the Male Player of the Year category, five candidates are vying for this much sought-after distinction. The other categories, such as Interclub Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, National Team of the Year and Club of the Year, also have five nominees each. .”
