A double from Arno Nussbaumer and a 5-4 victory for the Jura against the Ticino, this is the rough summary of this game. In Porrentruy, we certainly thought the matter was closed when Calvin Thürkauf scored 0-3 in the 35th minute in a double numerical superiority. This was without counting on an incredible comeback from the Jura in…less than four minutes.
A comeback initiated by Jerry Turkulainen, the HCA playing master, who reduced the score to the 36th. Then Lugano committed two irregularities and it was Ajoie who benefited from a double numerical advantage, and who took the opportunity to deceive Niklas Schlegel twice by Philip-Michaël Devos and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, each time on caviars of Turkulainen.
The Jurassiens had to come back to score once again, at 4-4, before finally winning in overtime. The name of the hero? Arno Nussbaumer. A nice story.
Biel bows
Flamboyant against Lausanne on Tuesday with six goals scored, the Biel residents came back down to earth against Bern (0-1). Despite the support of their public, Martin Filander’s players did not succeed in deceiving the vigilance of Philip Wüthrich. There weren’t many big chances in a fairly close match. The Bears finally won by the smallest of margins thanks to a goal from Merelä in the 49th.
In the other two matches of the evening, Zurich got the better of Kloten 3-1 in the Zurich derby, while Langnau dismissed Ambri 4-1.
