Having experienced everything at CF, from the training center to La Liga, Carlos Soler decided to get a change of scenery in the summer of 2022 by signing for PSG. The Spanish international then joined a locker room populated by stars, notably Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos. Soler lived a waking dream.

After more than 200 matches played with the Valencia CF first team in the space of six seasons, Carlos Soler (27 years old) said goodbye to his training club in 2022, that is to say during the summer transfer window of that year, in the perspective of having your first experience abroad. And not just any one.

Carlos Soler gave up everything for PSG

Indeed, Carlos Soler swapped the tunic of Valence CF for that of PSG, the cador of French football and constant challenger for the supreme title of European football: the Champions League. Upon his arrival at Camp des Loges, the former Saint-Germain training center before the opening of the PSG Campus in in July 2023, Soler joined a locker room populated by Neymar, Lionel Messi and even Kylian Mbappé.

Loaned to West Ham during the last moments of the summer transfer window, Carlos Soler admitted to the Daily Mirror having accepted the offer from PSG with the aim of evolving alongside the elite of world football. “I went to PSG to play with the best players in the world like Neymar, Messi, Mbappé, Sergio Ramos, Verratti, Marquinhos and that’s every player’s dream.”
