Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine will have one less case to deal with as he approaches his return to play, as he has just sold his condo in downtown Columbus, as reported by the Columbus Dispatch.

The Finn lost some money in the sale of his 4,031 square foot property located on the 24th floor of the luxurious Miranova Tower. Nothing dramatic, obviously, considering his average annual salary of $8.7 million.

Purchased for $2.475 million in 2022, the condo found a buyer for $2.3 million.

He was put up for sale at $2.75 million last April when Laine was still a member of the Blue Jackets, which fueled speculation about his future in Columbus. Well-founded speculation, one must believe, because Laine later expressed to management his wish to be traded; a wish that was granted through a trade sending him to Montreal in August.

The condo includes two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, in addition to an office with a Murphy bed that can be used as a third bedroom.

The master bathroom has a heated floor and towel rack, a jetted tub, and a sauna. In the kitchen there are two wine coolers, a bar area and a built-in Miele coffee machine.

The property also includes a spacious terrace and three parking spaces in the garage.
