Who can apply?
All university professors and researchers who have obtained their doctorate and currently hold a university/researcher position/affiliation covering the period of the scholarship. Applicants can apply as individuals or as a team.
Rules, application form and application deadline
Application files and all related correspondence must be sent to the CEO before January 27, 2025. The program regulations, including the list of specific priority research themes, and the application form are available on our website.
Selection committee and evaluation procedure
The scholarship program selection committee is composed of academic experts recognized internationally for their active participation in Olympic studies. The relevant IOC administration and a selection of academic referees are also involved in the selection process.
Another search option
Students enrolled in a doctoral program from a humanities and/or social sciences perspective, academic staff members and post-doctoral fellows who have obtained their doctorate or equivalent final degree within the last three years can apply to the program research grants for doctoral students and young academics.
