How was your preparation for this season?
“My preparation this fall went perfectly well. This is exactly what I expected of myself, following on from what I had started to implement last year, that is to say, gaining consistency without losing speed. I attacked calmly and realized that by skiing in a more relaxed manner, the times were good, even better than when I was more in control. »
What state of mind were you in before this weekend?
“I started the preparation course for these European Cups in Scandinavia very well. I was involved in an FIS race and I completely missed it. And fortunately, because it put my feet back on the ground. I wanted to add more and I didn’t respect what I was doing in training. I kept that in mind for Levi. »
Did you expect such results?
« It’s a great result to be seventh and fourth. I note that that makes 74 the most beautiful departments in the world. More seriously, I knew that I had abilities and I knew that the slope was so fair that I would be able to ski. I trusted myself and it worked. »
What is your next meeting this season?
“I hope to go to Zinal, a giant European Cup, in any case it’s close to my heart. Then there’s the World Cup in Val d’Isère… at home, it would be incredible to be able to be there. »
