Juventus’ last training session took place this Tuesday, before playing the 5th day of the Champions League against Aston Villa, on the pitch at Villa Park. Thiago Motta’s team met today at the center of Continassa to take stock and thus give the final instructions to a largely decimated group. In fact, the Italian coach called up only 14 outfield players to make the trip to Birmingham. A very small squad which will be accompanied by three goalkeepers with Mattia Perin, Michele Di Gregorio and Carlo Pinsoglio. We find in particular Federico Gatti, Danilo, Pierre Kalulu, Andrea Cambiaso, Nicolò Savona, the young Jonas Rouhi in defense, but also Manuel Locatelli, Teun Koopmeiners, Khéphren Thuram and Nicolò Fagioli in the middle, while Francisco Conceição, Kenan Yildiz, Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula complete the offensive lines.

Aston Villa are eighth in the standings and are returning after three wins and one defeat: Emery’s team has 9 points, two more than the Bianconeri. Indeed, Teun Koopmeiners and his teammates won against PSV and Leipzig, drew against Lille and lost against Stuttgart. Not having trained with the group, Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie were not included in the list of players called up for this Champions League match. In addition to them, long-term absentees like Vasilije Adžić, Douglas Luiz, Nico Gonzalez, Bremer, Arkadiusz Milik and Juan Cabal are still sidelined.
