“It was very motivating to be part of this team”

“Right now, the physical pain is not great compared to the mental pain of having to give up.”declared the teammate of Remco Evenepoel Monday evening in a video published by the Soudal Quick-Step. “The preparation for the Tour was long and it was very motivating to be part of this team, with this objective of general classification for Remco (Evenepoel). So it’s really depressing to abandon after only three days of racing, it was really too short”concluded the man who broke his collarbone for the third time in his career.
