If Renaud Lavoie firmly believes that Joshua Roy is returning to Montreal to stay, the situation of Rafaël Harvey-Pinard is more uncertain.

The TVA Sports journalist is unable to predict whether the Jonquiérois will play in Montreal or once his conditioning period is over.

“He experienced big things and suffered major injuries,” recalled Lavoie on Monday during his column on the show JiC. I feel like he will have to take his game to another level. I am not sure whether or not he will return with the Canadian. It’s 50-50.”

The Canadiens obtained a waiver to extend the forward’s conditioning period in Laval. Harvey-Pinard is thus entitled to two additional matches. The CH will then have to give it up on waivers if it wishes to keep it in the League

The return of Laine

There is a date to circle for Laine’s return to play: Tuesday, December 3 against the New York Islanders.

“They told me about 10 days [samedi]», Mentioned Lavoie.

It’s a decision that will likely be in Laine’s hands, ultimately.

“What we want is for him to be [un bon] level when he returns to the game. Often, it is the player who decides when he feels good enough on the ice to return. I think we’re going to see a committed Patrik Laine when he returns,” predicted our hockey reporter.

See his column in the video above. There is also talk of the Rangers, who offered Chris Kreider and Jacob Trouba to the 31 other NHL teams.
