Villeneuve-Tolosane. First edition of the Sports Festival

In this Olympic and Paralympic year, the town of Villeneuve-Tolosane is mobilizing to celebrate sport in all its forms and invites the population to come and participate in its first sports festival on Saturday July 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Micheline Ostermeyer gymnasium and its surroundings.

This sports festival is also an opportunity to highlight volunteers and sports players, and also to create a moment of sharing and celebration of the 33rd Olympics.

Whether you are a regular practitioner or motivated beginner, you are invited to come and discover and learn the many sporting activities on offer.

This exceptional day will also be marked by workshops adapted to disabilities. The Occitanie regional handisport committee will be present to raise awareness and provide information on practices adapted and dedicated to each disability.

The other highlight of the day will be the official launch of the extension work on the Ostermeyer gymnasium with the laying of the first stone. Above all, this will be a symbol of the municipality’s commitment to the development and ecological renovation of local sports infrastructure.

This inauguration will take place at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by a breakfast offered by the municipality.

In addition, the Pass’sport will be given to children to participate in a series of workshops to learn various disciplines. A surprise will await those who manage to complete the course.

The full program for this day can be downloaded from the town hall website: [email protected]
