Following the saga surrounding the Blackhawks scandal (Kyle Beach), Joel Quenneville had to leave his position with the Panthers.

That said, the possibility of seeing him return behind an NHL bench is on the table.

Because even with what happened in Chicago, he has the green light to return to the NHL.

It should also be noted that it was the same speech for Stan Bowman and Al MacIsaac, who were part of the Hawks organization at the time.

All three men will be eligible to be hired as early as July 10, according to information from Frank Seravalli.

How could I say this…

The NHL is not making any friends with this news.

In the eyes of many, not everyone involved in the Kyle Beach controversy deserves to be back in the NHL.

But Quenneville does not think that way.

He said in April that he “felt bad” about everything that happened several years ago…and that he believed he deserved the chance to coach an NHL club even with everything that happened.

That said, one really has to wonder whether his reputation and what happened before his eyes in Chicago could harm him going forward.

After all, not every National League team will want to partner with him for obvious reasons.

Because even though he openly said he was not aware of “the whole affair”, it is his image that has suffered in recent years.

The same goes for Stan Bowman and Al MacIsaac.

A lot of

– Caufield is happy with Slaf’s new contract.

– A return to Carolina for the Phantom.

– Two years at $5 million per season for Wennberg.

– Nice contract.

– Phew.
