This is an interview that will please Parisian supporters who have been painfully trying to move on since the umpteenth betrayal of an “ex” for the mild climate of Provence. Asked by Téléfoot about his return to France and his choice to favor OM, Adrien Rabiot, as usual, did not bite his tongue for a week.
“To say that I have been pampered, I have to stop”
“I'm not going to lie to you, when I was at PSG, they didn't give me anything, they didn't give me any gifts, they weren't behind me more than that. So now, after 5 years at Juventus, saying “yes, we looked after him” we have to stop. There was none of that. My last season, when I was in the closet, the supporters did not come to defend me to get me out of there,” explained Rabiot, who had not played a minute during his last half-season in Paris in 2019 , because he had refused to extend his contract.

“After a while, we have to stop the hypocrisy,” adds the 2022 world vice-champion. “The only thing I don’t understand is the lack of respect on the networks. We can be disappointed, but I don't accept that. It's a bit sad to see these things. It's still just football, and there are other more important things, I'm well placed to know that. But I can understand that I could have disappointed people who were attached to me and who had the Rabiot-PSG image.”
